To help influencers of all levels honor your inner voice in a way that creates greater harmony between your personal values and public influence, and strengthens your clarity in both personal and professional decision making.
Like most people, there are many experiences in my life which have shaped who I am today. Here are a few:
My transition from aspiring recording artist to Marketing Director in the Christian music industry... My struggle with an eating disorder which led to publishing my first book and founding a nonprofit... Standing on stages in front of thousands of people and measuring my value by their applause...
Along the way, a common theme has been the tension between honoring my God-given voice and silencing or self-editing it for fear of being rejected.
After twenty-five years in music, ministry and nonprofit spaces, I've come to understand how universal this struggle is, especially for those in positions of influence. In an age of #cancelculture and #neverenough it takes having faith in something greater than human opinion to rise above the fray and live as a fully integrated person, aligned both internally and externally with who God created you to be.
While I still have to be intentional about shutting down my inner critic, I can honestly say that my inner-voice has begun to thrive.
It would be my great joy to help yours do the same.
Increase harmony between your at-home self and your public persona. Build strategies for managing unrealistic expectations of those you serve. Increase your depth of authentic relationships both personally and professionally. Approach criticism and praise with emotional intelligence, resist the trap of narcissistic thinking and stay faithful to your "why" even when it isn't popular.
Identify your core values, explore your purpose, strengthen relationships, reclaim giftings, break through creative blocks and get practical about pursuing the next level of your calling.
Women's events, leadership forums, college chapels, recovery communities and more on themes of reclaiming God-given gifts, closing the loop in relational conflicts, risking rejection to honor your core values and increasing influence by honoring your inner voice.
Living your dream requires risk and the willingness to fail. It also requires pausing productivity to "waste" time on being creative. Setting goals and clarifying what defines true success will help you pursue your dreams with boldness and resilience.
Performing for the approval of others is exhausting and can create internal dissonance between your personal values and your public persona. Taking time to examine what truly fulfills you will help reset the stage for a more nourishing life.
Whether you are contemplating a transition or in the middle of one already, taking time to examine your core values and articulate your "why" will help you navigate even the scariest life-changes with confidence and clarity.
